Ali Salehi

Hello!

I am a second year PhD student at the department of linguistics at SUNY Buffalo. I am interested in Kurdish morphosyntax with computational and corpus analysis of its structure. My work has been primarily on Soranî Kurdish (Kurdî Nawendî) and Southern Kurdish (Kurdî Xwarîn). I work on Kurdish morphosyntax and the computational documentation (Unimorph) and implementaiton of their morphology. It includes Ezafe constructions, adpositional phrases and applicatives in Soranî Kurdish. I have also run projects on corpus construction and investigation of colloquial Persian and Soranî Kurdish. Recently, my focus has been on morphological ergativity and ditransitive constructions of both of the Kurdish varieties.
